This musical drama tells the story of a Dublin amateur theatre group in 1964. Their leader, bus conductor Alfie, is determined to stage a verion of Oscar Wilde's play 'Salome' at his church, depite the objections of church authorities. This decision results in personal truths being revealed that will change his life forever but also show the power of family, friendship and acceptance.
