Rules for all Sports

Brief Rules for all the games and sports other than dominoes

Please note that these rules are set out for guidance only – participating entrants/teams may agree to vary by
mutual consent. It is traditional for the home team to arrange a suitable venue for each match. But where the distances are large, please try and find a venue halfway. It is also traditional for the home team to provide a few snacks if possible.

Two doubles matches of three games to 21 points with two clear points

Two singles matches of three games, each to 21 points with two clear points, so each player plays both of the opposite team members.

Highest aggregate number of games is the winner. In the event of a tie, play one more doubles match of three games as a decider.

Set a time limit at the beginning and if this is likely to be too much, agree a different version at a fair stage.
