Volunteering at the Allotment
ALLOTMENT - Volunteers return to their Community Allotment Project - Saturday, 28 January 2023B
It was acceptable weather for us to meet up again properly for the first time this year and are taking on a new project of restoring a greenhouse so that we can grow even more crops and close at hand. Duncan from Ewell Rotary who has undertaken many of the practical tasks set about preparing the base along with Chris our new volunteer who has attended for the first time today.. Generally, too the rest of us spent time tidying, weeding and planning.
I thought it also worthwhile attaching a picture of the water butt which Duncan has installed together with the guttering from the shed - a further way to conserve water.
Weather permitting we should now be able to meet up again regular basis and always welcome visitors and volunteers.
