First Monthly Veterans Hub for 2023


07 February 2023 - Veterans Hub Returns for 2023

Run by Surrey County Council, in conjunction with Royal British Legion with volunteers from Epsom Rotary and other volunteers the Veterans Hub returns to the Army Reserve Centre, Ewell for the first Tuesday in the month. Apparently some other Veterans Hubs have not been as successful.

A good number of some well known regular Veterans attended today, as well as some new Veterans and socialised in a warm space, enjoying much needed company, teas and coffees and were also given some advice by talkers today from Age Concern Epsom & Ewell and The Food Bank.

They were also provided an itinerary of dates to reserve for the other tw activity groups of Models for Heroes and Archery, as well as choosing whether they would wish to attend an organised trip.  The next Veterans Hub will be the first Tuesday in March 2023.
