Why not take this opportunity to build teamwork while having a fun day in a competitive spirit with friends and colleagues, and raise money for local causes?
After our very successful ninth year of the “Boules in the Square” in 2022 (following a break for the pandemic!) we are delighted that our annual “Boules Tournament” will once again be a feature in the Rotary calendar, for June.
The event will be open to 16 teams from the local business and voluntary community sector and we would be keen to hear from any business who would also like to help sponsor the event. This will then help us to support our nominated local charities.
The “Tournament” will take place on Sunday, 25 June starting at 10am and finishing around 4pm.
We will have 6 Pistes set up in The Market Square for playing competition games. Teams are invited to enter with 4-6 players – the entry cost is £90 per team.
There are opportunities to publicise business brands with programme and website entries etc. In order to avoid disappointment, it would be terrific if you could confirm your intention to register your team as soon as possible.
Other opportunities are available for sponsorship of a Piste, or even the entire event – see below and to sponsor the event please call me to discuss.
You are invited to come and enjoy this community initiative “Boules in the Square” organised by the Rotary Club of Newbury (Phoenix Rotary) and endorsed by both Newbury Town Councils’ Leisure and Entertainment committee, and Newbury BID.
