The primary objective of the competition is to promote fellowship amongst the Clubs of District 1070. To achieve this it is recommended that wherever possible mixed teams are organised to include wives, partners, and prospective members.
We hope that all matches will provide an enjoyable evening of fellowship and fun.
All matches are based upon indoor/pub games. Any queries as to the type of game proposed should be referred to the District organiser before the match
The following games are not regarded as Minor Sports ---- Table Tennis, Darts, Snooker/Pool or Golf (excepting indoor carpet putting). These games are all played professionally.
Minor Sports eg. Jenga, Dominoes, Card Games, Carpet Putting, Connect 4, Quoits, Table skittles, Bagatelle, etc. etc. etc.
All matches are drawn randomly within areas for early rounds prior to becoming across District as the competition progresses.
The Home Team ---- is responsible for arranging the date, venue, games to be played in consultation with their opponents. Both Team captains to report the result to the District Organiser.
Clubs to agree ---- when arranging the fixture, the location, and games to be played.
Clubs to agree ---- when arranging the fixture any variation to the accepted rules of specific games.
Expense for the evening ---- Room hire, any food or other costs to be shared between Clubs involved.
If there are any queries ---- that participating Clubs cannot agree please refer the problem to the District Organiser for arbitration.

The simple rules and organisation of the competition are attached.
Please send your Clubs registration and details to the District Organiser as soon as possible, but no later than July 31st.
Round 1, to be completed by September 30th.2023
Round 2, to be completed by November 30th.2023
Round 3, to be completed by February 28th.2024
March, April, May, give time to complete the competition for a District Final in June 2024.
