Huge thanks to all who made our Foundation conference such a great success. We received fantastic feedback and so are looking forward to our next event in October which will have a similar format with a wide range of speakers and plenty of time for catching up with Rotarians from other clubs and to chat with speakers.

Read about the Rotary Foundation Seminar on Saturday 28th October.

This short video will hopefully serve as a nice reminder to those who attended. Please share the link to this page with others who were not able to attend. and share it with those who might want to attend our next event but are not too sure what to expect.

Watch Emma Walker-Silverman speaking about her experiences supporting refugee groups in Istanbul and her research at Oxford University.

Faith Jimmy studied at Reading University in 2020/21 and Ayomide Olaniyan is there for the 2022/23 academic year. Both have been funded by a Rotary global grant scholarship from our Rotary district. Here they talk about their studies and Faith's work for a conservation organisation since returning to Kenya after her degree.

Cookham Bridge Rotarians led on our first 'incoming global grant' project, using a Rotary global grant to support training courses at the new Thames Hospice. Jane Symmons from the Thames Hospice spoke about the work of the hospice, it's wide reach into the community and how the Rotary grant is enabling it to improve its services.

We hope you agree that we covered many great subjects and that we were able to spend the day celebrating our impact and sharing ideas.
