Learn about Eastbourne’s Green Canopy
The Queen's Green Canopy is her chosen way for us to leave a legacy of her Platinum Jubilee - to plant trees and shrubs to celebrate her reign. As part of this legacy, an avenue of ecologies in Eastbourne was designed, stretching from Butts Brow at the northern edge of the town to Black Robin Farm near Beachy Head.
Lord Lucas, Chair of Eastbourne Jubilee Green Canopy is coming to talk to the Rotary Club of Senlac about how they began with great ambitions, their achievements so far, the progress planned for the next decade and their continuing ambitions
Visitors are welcome to come along, have a meal and listen to the talk, which will be held on Wednesday, 4th October from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Highwoods Golf Club, Bexhill. The price is £15 for a one course meal, coffee/tea and mints.
