District Conference 2024

I am pleased to advise that the District 1285 Conference during the next Rotary Year will be held in
Llandudno 27th and 28th April 2024. Register via Eventbrite here

I recently asked all the clubs whether they would wish a conference in the district or outside the district,
99% of the clubs that responded voted for a conference outside the district, therefore Llandudno is the
confirmed venue. DG 2023/24 Swati has requested that we hold the conference in April as a celebration
of the work clubs have done during the year she is our DG, it was also felt that the lighter nights and the
promise of better weather would be an added attraction.

During the 2023/24 year Inner Wheel will be celebrating 100 years, this is an amazing milestone and we
intend to feature Inner Wheel at the conference, especially since the organisation was formed in this
district, in Manchester. The HQ Hotel will be The Imperial, rooms will be on a first come first serve basis
so let me know your club requirements as soon as you can, I will finalise the prices early in the new year.
