Tree of Light 2023

Remembrance ‘Tree of Light’ Christmas Fundraising Appeal.

Have the names of your passed away loved ones printed in the Hastings & St Leonards & Rye Observer with a few words of remembrance and donate funds for those in need this Christmas.

This year the tree has been kindly funded by Stagecoach and  has been erected in its usual place opposite the old Debenhams store (OWENS). 

We hope that you will  make donations in memory of departed loved ones. Payments will be collected in the usual way through Halifax plc and JustGiving. 

If using Just Giving, please follow the insructions carefully and leave details of your loved one’s name and your dedication in the message box , "Add a message of support" before you confirm your payment.

We are very grateful for the support received again this year by Hastings & St Leonards & Rye Observer and Halifax plc.

The aim of the appeal is to distribute Christmas food hampers to those individuals and families who find themselves in financial difficulties at this time. We are grateful to A1 Quality Care for assembling and distributing the hampers.

Last year over 200 people were remembered and £1,600 raised to help families and individuals.

The ‘Tree of Light’ should not be confused with the ‘Lights of Love’ which supports our wonderful Hospice.
