Comedy Wordsmith Extraordinaire


Lloyd Hollett The Comedy Wordsmith has entertained all over the world for over 30 years with his own unique and original style of comedy wordplay.

As a Comedian he regularly performs across the UK for Warner Leisure Hotels as well as being a host and compere at numerous corporate events across Europe.

As a voice over artist, he has recently voiced The Lion, The Elephant, The Camel and The Frog in the brand-new UK stage version of the hit children’s book Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell.

Lloyd has taken his act all over the world performing on many different cruise lines including Viking, P&O, Saga, Fred Olsen, Marella & Ambassador.

In November Lloyd released his third DVD, Lloyd Hollett - Thirty-Two Years In Showbiz which was recorded at The Theatre Royal in Margate.

As a writer, he has written for Stephen Mulhern as well as appearing alongside him on his live ITV show Magic Numbers.

Lloyd is no stranger to pantomime either, Lloyd has completed 25 consecutive pantomimes. Working alongside the likes of Nigel Havers, Sheila Ferguson, Shaun Williamson, Stephen Mulhern, Rita Simons, Samantha Womack, Lee Mead, Bonnie Langford, Dr Ranj, Sally Lindsay, Toyah Willcox, Gareth Gates and most recently Anton Du Beke.

As a support act he has supported Paul Daniels, Sean Hughes and Julian Clary as well as Jim Davidson where he supported Jim for fourteen consecutive UK Tours.

Lloyd Hollett continues to establish himself as one of the country’s most unique and original comedy performers, described by Gyles Brandreth as ‘a linguistic comedy genius’.
