Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Honiton

The Rotary Club of Honiton

The Rotary Club of Honiton was chartered in 1944.  Members meet for lunch, weekly on Mondays 12.30pm for 1pm at The Deer Park Hotel, Weston, Honiton.

All visitors are most welcome, there is plenty of parking and a speaker is invited to the majority of our meetings.  The second Monday of each month is usually reserved for Club business.

The Club is twinned with the Rotary Club of Quenbeyan in Australia.

Throughout Honiton many places of historical note bear blue plaques, which summarise why they are of interest.   This was a Rotary International centenary project of 2005 undertaken and initiated by Honiton Rotary Club, subsequently taken up by several other Rotary Clubs in Devon.

Sometimes we are regarded as an organisation whose principal function is to raise money for charities.   While this is a small part of our work, our main purpose is to be of service, locally, nationally and internationally, and to enjoy the company of intelligent, caring people from within our community.
