Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Croydon Whitgift

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Croydon Whitgift

The Croydon Whitgift Breakfast Club is designed for all of us who lead busy lives and wake up early, a perfect way to start the day, a great opportunity for networking with other professionals in business, local politics and voluntary organisations and a chance to make a difference.

We are a club of professional individuals based in the private and voluntary sectors, in the fields of accountancy, law, surveying, hotels and leisure, human resources and local politics to name a few.

We sit down for a buffet breakfast including traditional English options at 7.30am on Wednesday mornings in the Green Room of Croydon's premiere concert venue, the Fairfield Halls - free parking out front till 9.00a.m. (map).  Our meetings are informal, informative and most importantly fun!

Our early morning start means that we are able to attract a wide range of speakers form areas such as the local council, local media, local charities, and interest groups and visitors from the UK and overseas.

What we do

We sponsor and fund-raise for a number of causes and in the past year have supported:

Kid’s Out: A fun day for disadvantaged children at Chessington World of Adventure.

Joshua Orphan Fund: Provided funds to bring clean drinking water to a village in Malawi.

St. Mary’s School: Helped to fund an outdoor gym for the children to exercise safely.

M.S. Society: Our volunteer drivers take members to and from social occasions.

Our social calender is full, whether it be lunch in a Château in France, a trip on the new high speed train to Chichester or just a social evening at a local Pub.
