Ripon CathedralThere has been a place of worship on this site in Ripon since AD 672. Today, only the Crypt of Wilfrid's church survives but this tiny 7th Century chapel still rests complete beneath the nave of the Cathedral. Visitors are still able to enter the Crypt.
