The annual Winter Concert at Queen Victoria School with Skelpit Lug and the Queen Victoria School pupils providing the entertainment.

Rotary winter treat a hit
Eighty-five local residents attended the annual senior citizens winter treat which was again held at the Queen Victoria School in Dunblane .
Entertainment was provided by the school's pipe band and Scottish country dancers - and local ceilidh band, Skelpit Lug.
Community committee convenor John Kilby said it had been one of the most enjoyable and successful events ever. "This is mainly down to the school's facilities and wonderful support we received from the teaching staff, students and catering staff, who all went out of their way to ensure the senior citizens had a memorable evening," he said. "Thanks, too, to the many club members who ferried our guests to and from their various places of residence and, of course, to Skelpit Lug."
John said that the club looks forward to even stronger ties with the school as member Jill Adams, a senior staff member at the school, has been instrumental in setting up an Interact club (the equivalent of a Rotary club for students aged 14 to 19 years), which will be inaugurated within a few weeks.
