Rotary GO Seminar Guildford - Saturday 2nd May 2015
Surrey Sports Park, Guildford Richard Meyjes Rd, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 7AD
Do you remember receiving the ‘Gift of Rotary’? Do you want to pass that precious gift to others so that they, too, can grow through Rotary service? Then, coming to Guildford is a day’s event exploring how you and your club can pass the gift on and grow your club to offer more service and friendship opportunities to more members.
Perhaps you have heard that there is no such thing as a free lunch? Well this time there is! There is no charge for the day so come along, exchange ideas and meet people who are just as passionate as you are. We are aiming this seminar at all club members. You may be the President or the Membership Chair or you may be someone who is enthusiastic about Rotary and “giving the gift”. You may be a new member looking for good ideas or a more long standing one able to share experience. Everyone is welcome.
Plenary sessions where we introduce and end the seminar will be very short and punchy. You’ll get an opportunity to be on the ‘Rotary Carousel’ of facilitated discussions and workshops, looking at all the ways in which we can attract new members. There will also be experts on hand to answer any questions. How have you attracted new members? Come and tell others and we can learn together the best way to ask people to join us.
We are very happy to see a team of membership enthusiasts from each Club - it is people like you we desperately need to secure the future of Rotary in these islands.
The outline programme of the day is:
0900 Registration
0930 Introductory Plenary
1000 Workshop 1
1115 Workshop 2
1230 Lunch
1315 Workshop 3
1430 Workshop 4

· Innovative & Flexible Clubs
· Associate and Corporate Membership
· Satellite Clubs
· Traditional New Club Formation and E-Clubs
