Michael Allhouse, Student Engagement Manager, University of Bradford Students Union. Michael works on a number of projects for the Students Union, most notably projects with international students, disabled students and other student groups. He has worked at the university for 20 years now!
Cycling 4 All is a project to get disabled and able bodied people cycling and enjoying nature. It has established a number of provisions for students including weekly cycling events in Lister Park Cycling Hub, a Coast to Coast cycling challenge for disabled people, wheelchair basketball and rugby teams for students and members of the community, as well as trips and other sporting activities for disabled young people. C4A works with other disabled groups to impact on Bradford in a number of other ways.
Dr Adam Tasker, Cycling 4 All Coordinator. Adam has run Cycling 4 All for over 3 years and in that time has expanded its reach beyond cycling to other sports and activities. C4A runs from the University of Bradford Union but also works extensively in the community. Adam has a PhD and has worked extensively with disability charity groups within Bradford for many years now.
