Supporting the charity “Embrace –child victims of crime”
Over the past two years the club has raised £5,000 for this charity by our own efforts and the successful applications for grants from the Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s own international charity fund. As a result over 50 children, living in the Bradford District, who have been victims of crime, have been supported For example by the purchase of educational and vocational lessons or equipment, extra personal counselling, and this in addition to toys for Christmas and birthdays.
All this has been organised by President Chris and Diane Watts of the charity.
