Sharing your generosity and support around Lymm

Our normal three week Xmas Float tour is our main fundraising as well as popular event. This year we couldn’t collect door to door, but decided to go ahead as normal for the children (big kids, sorry adults too!). The response was unbelievable – the float itself became a giant collection target as you literally threw money at us. We didn’t expect anything, but over £3000 floated in. Thank you !!

Our float money is always reserved for supporting charitable and worthy causes in our area, and this year we decided to hand over promptly a sizeable proportion to local support groups whose normal fund raising, including collecting with the float, had been obliterated by Covid. Hence £2000 has been shared between the following charitable groups, leaving something over for our support endeavours during the year.

Friends of Oughtrington Primary School , Cherry Tree Primary School P.T.A., Statham Primary School P.T.A., St.Mary’s Playgroup, Oughtrington Pre-School, Statham Little Foxes, Lymm Cancer Research, St. Rocco’s, St.Peter’s Church, and St.Mary’s Church.
