Two Removal Companies carry Rotary End Polio Now Logos \| Two major UK Removal and Storage Companies have agreed to carry Rotary ‘End Polio Now’ Logo’s on all their vehicles. GB Liners and White and Company will carry the logos on all their vehicles used for both National and International removals. Roundhay display Shelterbox at community event \| RC of Roundhay again displayed a Shelterbox at this years community event	Up Hill & Down Dale on Mountain Bikes \| Some 142 riders, men, women and children pumped up there tyres, adjusted brakes and set off from the Greetland Community Centre on the 15th last for a ride up hill, down dale, across and along bridleways and on roads in an enjoyable mornings activity.
Young Musician National Final Winner is from D1040! \| The fantastic news is that Amy Jayne Milton flute sponsored by York Vikings won the competition. She was absolutely superb against some strong opposition.	YORKSHIRE ROTARIANS’ AFRICA MISSION \| A 40 foot container with life-saving medical items and life-changing vocational tools and school supplies left Huddersfield on Saturday, thanks to the tireless work of Rotarians and supporters.

Fireworks & Fun at Bingley Bonfire \| This year’s annual Firework Extravaganza once again took place in Myrtle Park, Bingley on Saturday 5th November. The 40 year old event, this year organised by The Rotary Club of Bingley Airedale, was yet another dazzling success. North Group Technology Tournament at Richmond \| The Rotary Clubs of Wensleydale, Richmond, Northallerton and Thirsk worked together to organise a schools Technology Tournament held at Richmond cricket club.	RIBI PRESIDENTS VISIT \| RIBI President Jim Moulson spent three days in Yorkshire including an afternoon and evening with the three York clubs.
Leeds Rotary Technology Tournament for Schools 2011 \| For the fifth year running, students from Leeds schools participated in a Technology Tournament run by Rotary Clubs in the Leeds area. Helmsley smashes world record \| The weather seemed set fair on Sunday morning in the Arboretum, Kew at Castle Howard for Helmsley & District’s attempt to smash the current Guinness World record for the most people planting five crocus bulbs in an hour (currently 331).
