Official Unveiling of the Cuttlebrook seat

A seat in the Cuttlebrook are of Thame was unveiled on Tuesday 18 August 2009 in the presence of the representatives of the Cooperative Group who provided a grant, Chiltern Vale Association and the Rotary Club of Thame who applied for the grant.


Short history of the seat:

Back in December 2008, Jim Stanbridge, Rotarian and also member of the Chiltern Vale Association, has asked the Thame Rotary Club to make a contribution towards a new seat in the Cuttlebrook area, as the old one was in a bad condition. At the club meeting it was suggested that an application for a grant should be submitted to the Cooperative Group which actively supports local projects.

Jim took care of all paper work and also obtained the planning permission.

Official unveiling:

The seat was unveiled on Tuesday 18 August 2009 in the presence of represenatives of the Co-Operative Group, Chiltern Vale Association and Rotart Club of Thame.

The seat is now in use for the benefit of the local residents.
