Getting the Message Across for Rotary in the Thames Valley Area
Rotarians are 'ordinary people doing extraordinary things' to make the world a better place. The aim of this committee is to
- Promote the work of Rotary in the Thames Valley Area and beyond
- To enable all clubs to capitalise on their achievements by providing resources and sharing expertise

Specifically, the Marketing, PR and Communications Committee is responsible for:
- District 1090 News (online in the Thames Valley Rotary section of this website) - Email Eric Malam
- District Press Releases (in the "Press Releases" section of this website) - Email Judith Diment
- Development and Maintenance of the District Website - Elisabeth Yardley or Marius Ciortan
- Management and judging of the District Best Club Bulletin Competition - See the Roll of Honour for past winners
- Support to Clubs, Officers and Committees who wish to publish material on the district website - Email Elisabeth Yardley or Marius Ciortan.
- Creation of news articles of district events for the website - Email Liz Yardley
- Support to Clubs using the RIBI Template in the district
- Support to those developing use of Social Media for their clubs: contact Gwen Powell
- Communications: overseeing and advising on the use of the Membership Database Extension (Search and Directories on the Members home page) through which Clubs and District officers may now communicate directly with each other and replacing the former email distribution service.

The District 1090 Shop
The shop, supplying a wide range of Rotary merchandise useful to clubs, is under the control of the Rotary Club of Maidenhead .
