Teams of seventeen per dragon boat,
sponsored by local organisations, paddle their crafts in a series of races
culminating, in grand finals. Each
paddler aims to raise donations for local charities.

Wykeham lakes: from Scarborough take the A170 towards Pickering. Wykeham
lakes are signposted to the left just after leaving West Ayton and before
Wykeham. From Pickering take the A170 towards Scarborough and take a right turn
as signposted after passing through Wykeham village. Follow the lane south to
arrive at the lakes complex
Park and ride

fastest times Gold and Silver divisions will be formed for the third heats. The

Team outfits are good for identification when racing and
keeping track of team mates!. Fancy

The grassed and gravelled areas are available to set up team
and supporter ‘camps’. You may bring your own seats and rugs. Some plastic
chairs are available. Gazebos not exceeding 3mx3m may be used but space is
