The Silent Auction helps us raise lots of money for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation (Motor Neurone Disease), MacMillan Cornhill Centre in Perth, and other charities.

Doddie Weir is one of rugby’s most recognisable personalities.  He earned 61 caps for Scotland during a successful playing career. In June 2017, just before his 47th birthday, Doddie was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and since then has dedicated all his resources to raising funds for research into this, as yet, incurable disease.  www.myname’

Cornhill Macmillan Cancer Centre is a purpose-built Specialist Palliative Care Unit at Perth Royal Infirmary, staffed by a dedicated team with ongoing support and involvement from Macmillan Cancer Support.

Bundles of local charities benefit from the Silent Auction. The list is long but over the last year, the Silent Auction has supported Letham Community Sports Club, PKAVS, Social Bite, Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre Perth & Kinross, Perth Hospital Radio, Perth Dolphins, Perth Indigent Old Men’s Society, Perth & Kinross Prostate Cancer Support, Samaritans of Perth, Canine Partners, Perth Six Circle Project, Perthshire Musical Festival, Perth Harbour Counselling Service, Vision PK, Perth and District Pipe Band, Coupar Angus Cycling Hub, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Perth & Kinross Association, Fair City Singers and Perthshire Brass and others.  Help these local charities and bid in the Silent Auction.

It's fun – bidders get full value for their bids as local businesses have donated these lots – it raises money for worthwhile charities.
