This years theme was ‘Wonderful Water’ which is perfect for Cumbria and Lancashire, with our beautiful lakes, rivers and shore lines.
The winner in Cumbria & Lancashire is Harper Cawson aged 8 from Irthington Village School. The Artwork description is 'All life needs wonderful water.'
Young artists were asked to submit a two dimensional piece of artwork being openly creative to demonstrate your talents to a wider audience.
Their artwork was considered by a District team on 28 February 2025 and then, if they were lucky, onto the national final held on 30th April 2025.
The competition was open to artists up to the age of 17 (as of 31st August 2024) in 3 categories : under 11, 11-13, 14-17 yrs old. Entries had to be with the assessors by 28th February 2025.
