Members of Westbury Rotary visit Chippenham RC in their meeting hall in Chippenham

President Elizabeth Webbe, District AG David Perkins and IPP Jon Street visited the Rotary Club of Chippenham at their meeting hall in Chippenham.  We were greeted by President Kate and Bill Greenwood

It was an excellent chance to meet old acquaintances and make new friends in another club.

We enjoyed a very tasty light lunch and drinks from the bar.

After the meal President Kate spoke to the club on Rotary matters and then introduced Jon who was the guest speaker for the meeting.

Jon spoke, and gave a PowerPoint presentation, on the recent sponsored trek to the summit of Mount Snowdon he completed recently.  He gave mention to the team that went with him: Julie Street, Jackie Pike and Julian Sandoe, they played a major part in the effort.  The talk went well and several members asked questions about the trek and the reasons for completing it.

It was an excellent meeting and we will endeavour to get out to other clubs in the future, as other clubs are welcome to us.
