Rotary Overseas Travel Grants for Young People
To celebrate 50 years as a member of Rotary International, Dronfield Rotary Club is offering grants for young people living in or around Dronfield to travel overseas.
The grants, which will be a financial contribution towards the cost of the project, will be to help them enhance their understanding of other cultures. This can be through work experience, some adventure you have set up yourself, Voluntary Service Overseas, to take part in work experience or other recognised international youth programmes.

Dronfield Rotary Club Travel Grants Information
1. You must be over 16 and under 25 at the time of your application. If you are under 18 your parent / guardian must agree to the application.
2. You must live in Dronfield S18 or be a member of an S18 organisation.
3. You must have made a big effort to raise the money yourself and tell us about your efforts and totals so far. Any award we make will never be more that what money you have raised yourself, and may be a pledge to match your fundraising efforts.
4. When you return, you will be expected to give a short presentation to the Rotary Club of Dronfield about your adventures. Your story may be used (with your permission) in local publicity.
5. Your application will be reviewed by members of Dronfield Rotary Club. You may be invited to discuss your plans with us in person. The club’s decision will be final and we will not be obliged to explain our decisions.
'What We Do' Main Pages:
Only £1 per week. 50% of all income is paid out as a prize each week. The remainder is only used to support projects and individuals within the S18 postcode. A true local lottery.
