On Saturday 2nd April, the Rotary Club of Troon are holding our annual spring clean in conjunction with South Ayrshire Council who have asked Rotary to coordinate the Beach Clean aspect of their Keep Scotland Beautiful campaign.
We invite as many people as possible to join us in clearing the large amounts of debris along our shoreline after recent storms. Youth clubs are welcome to join us.
Assemble at the old toilet block on North Beach for a 9am start. We plan to work until 12 noon, weather permitting. Wear suitable footwear and bring gardening gloves. Rubbish bags will be provided along with some litter tongs and the Council will uplift all the litter we collect.
We look forward to you joining us on Saturday 2nd April when you can make a difference to your local community.
