The Rotary Club of Dunmow were pleased to welcome Natalie Prosser & Mina Pandya from Grove Cottage, Bishop’s Stortford at this week's club meeting.
Natalie and Mina provided a great insight into the work of Grove Cottage and the exciting redevelopment of their facilities.
The redevelopment of Grove Cottage will provide a modern facility for them to continue offering social and educational activities for their members of all ages with learning disabilities and special additional needs. A key activity is to also to provide respite for the caring families
The rebuild is a major project and the Rotary Club of Dunmow, through the Collinson Legacy Fund, were pleased to make a donation towards their new first floor activity room, from which they will provide specialist services for their adult members. A representation of the cheque is seen being presented to Natalie & Mina by the Rotary Club of Dunmow President, Barry Clark.
As part of their project there is an opportunity to help by donating to the project through a ‘Buy a Brick’ campaign, for which the link is https://grovecottagebuyabrick.org.uk
