Members of the Rotary Club of Dunmow visited the Helena Romanes School on Wednesday 14th February, to see and hear the musical instruments purchased through a donation from the Rotary Club of Dunmow - Collinson Legacy Fund.
The instruments will be used by both the primary & secondary school pupils at HRS. In addition, Mr Cairns, the new Director of Music at HRS, is also collaborating with local groups to perform at the Flitch Trials and organising events for local primary schools to access the instruments at HRS. Musical groups in the local community will also have the opportunity to make use of these instruments creating a rich musical community in Great Dunmow and beyond.
