Visit to The Gurdwara Sahib on Ramdas Way, in Hamilton

Fri, Jun 13th 2025 at 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Rotarians are invited by Ranjit Mann to visit this new purpose built building opened in 2024. It will also be an opportunity to meet some of the children from Falcons Primary school. Ranjit will be in attendance between 11 am and 2pm.

One of the UK’s largest purpose-built Sikh temples has officially opened in Leicester with space for up to 900 worshippers. The Gurdwara Sahib on Ramdas Way, in Hamilton, opened its doors at the end of June 2024

The three-storey place of worship was originally located on Meynell Road, while the congragation has had a presence in the city since 1972. But with a growing number of worshippers, some £4.6 million was invested to build a brand new, modern site across 2.8 acres.
