Rotary Breakfast meeting Thursday 12th June 2025 The Plough Apologies Jean Martin, Fiona, Hilary, Lesley, Marian, Pippa and Spyros, Pete, Elaine, Gerry, Ian, Nick, Present Godfrey, Anne, Reggie, Andrew B, Andrew M, Maureen, Dave C, David K, David M, Paul, Maggie, Kathy, Sue, Pat Grace - read by Paul Birthdays Godfrey, 15th June, Happy Birthday Finance All good, all payments in and out will be in place by the end of our year. Fundraising Car parking coming up Saturday 21st June Social lots of suggestions for future social events, time to get some dates in the diary…. International Nothing imminent, all moneys from W4W schools will be in by next week, presentation to those coming will be on 19th June. Youth There has been an email to Maggie, but just to say that dates and venues are being sorted for the cooking competition Membership Anne has now become a member, Welcome Anne…. it is regrettable to say that we are losing Hilary, Nick and Jean at the end of this Rotary year. We are all sorry to see them go but understand due to their individual circumstances. Also Ian has decided not to take up the presidents position this following year due to personal problems, and we therefore welcome Kathy who has kindly agreed to step up to the position. we will now be looking for someone to be Kathy’s vice president so please if anyone is interested in taking this position please let us know. AOB it has been announced today that Mel and Chris will be leaving The Plough in a couple of weeks and a manager will Be taking over, we have been told the breakfast meetings will still go ahead as planned. We wish Mel and Chris good luck for their future. Andrew and Pat completed a walk in Harrietsham Dave C gave greetings from Whitstable Rotary Jean Martin won the raffle, a bottle of wine And Dave C has taken over the roll of Master at Arms from Nick, and done a splendid job of fining us for all our misdemeanours, and finished with an amusing poem, trying to bring a bit of culture to the group!!!!!!!! Kathy has invited us all to a garden party at her house on Monday 14th July, time will be announced soon There will be a board meeting held at The Plough on Tuesday 17th June, 6.30 pm Final toast given by Sue
