Provision of food for families in need during the school holidays

Dear Chestfield Rotary,

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your generous donation of £500 towards our Holiday Hunger Project.

With your support, we were able to provide lunch food throughout August for around 40 families (approximately 115 children) in the Whitstable and Herne Bay area, all of whom had been referred to us by their School Family Liaison Officers. The families expressed enormous gratitude for this help, which made a real difference to them during the school holidays.

We are hopeful that the Holiday Hunger Project will run again next year, and we hope you won’t mind if we get in touch again when the time comes.

Your generosity has had a real and lasting impact on local families, and we are truly grateful for your support.

With warm regards,

Holiday Hunger Project Team
