Buxton Home Energy Project Information Sheet
Thank you for taking part in our Home Energy project.
The project has three parts.
Part 1 is information about reducing energy consumption in your home. The Royal Institute for Chartered Surveyors (RICS) provided this and the Sureserve Foundation, in partnership with Zink, have produced an “Energy Efficiency Advice and Guidance booklet.” We will arrange for a home energy advisor to visit your home to carry out an assessment.
Part 2 is the draught excluders and other energy saving materials which we are providing and fitting for free.
Part 3 is the simple, anonymous, feedback questionnaire. Your answers will help us decide if the project has been successful and whether we should expand this to other homes.
If you have any questions, please ask the advisor who visits your home.
We hope that the practical steps, tips, and energy saving materials help to keep your home warmer, reduce your energy bills, and combat climate change.
Best wishes,
Buxton Home Energy Project Team
