The Thatcham Santa Run is a Fun Event for All the family.

THE THATCHAM SANTA FUN RUN - SUNDAY 8th DEC

We are still making plans so details not yet available but please reserve the date in your diary. The following is a guide based on last year

This is a family event and the primary objective is for the community to have fun and to raise money for a number of worthy causes. This years Santa Run main beneficiary will be announced shortly, Runners are also invited to raise money for their own good causes using this event.

Kennet Radio will be supporting us again (very much appreciated), providing pre run entertainment and race commentary.

The run will start from Thatcham Broadway and the approx timings for the day are: -

  • 09:45 to 10:45 Collection of suits from the Rotary Gazebo on the Green - we do ask that you try to collect prior to the day, see suit collection details on the registration page.
  • 10:45am begin to assemble ready for start*
  • 11:00am Run Starts* (See stagger details)
  • 12 ish  Event Ends

Standard Entry £15, Students (under 18) £10, Children under 8 £7.00

* Race Start - We will stagger the start to help prevent bunching at the start gate. With you entry acknowledgement you will receive agroup number between 2 and 5. However if you are a serious runner you should assemble at the start in Group 1. If you are a walker, in a wheelchair, or participating with young children, we ask that you to assemble in Group 6. 

Race End - When you finish the race, please collect your medal and move well away from the finishing line. We appreciate friends and family may wish to congratulate you but to avoid congestion we ask that you keep the finish approach and finishing line clear. Thank You.
