This years Christmas family fun event is on Sunday 7th Dec. It is our 13th charity Santa Fun Run and will be raising money for Local Charities including Time to Talk. An occasion for all the family as we "Run Up" to Christmas "Boom Boom"

Our next event is the Thatcham Santa Fun Run. The main route is about 5km but we have shorter routes for those who just want to join in the fun, for our younger runners, and those in wheel chairs. Click on details for more information.

A fun event for all the family- VISIT THE 2024 PHOTO ALBUM

This is a family event and the primary objective is for the community to have fun and to raisemoney for a number of worthy causes. This years Santa Run main beneficiary will be TimeToTalk.

Runners are also invited to raise money for their own good causes using this event.

We are grateful that Kennet Radio will once again provide the pre run entertainment and race commentary. Do come along after 10am to join them in the fun before the run starts.

Also a big thank you to our sponsor UHY - Ross Brooke Charted Accountants their support has helped keep the entry fees the same as last year. (In fact the same price since COVID)

It is a fun run, and not a race, open to all ages and abilities. The full course is a 5km (approx.) route around Thatcham streets and Thatcham Lakes starting and finishing in Thatcham Broadway.  It is part of the Thatcham's Christmas Warmup Weekend. Come and run as much as you can, there is a short course for young runners and wheelchair users.

Every runner receives:

  1.  Santa outfit and
  2.  Running number,
  3.  and on completing the course is presented a medal by the Mayor of Thatcham and assistants.
