The events that we are witnessing in Ukraine every day are both tragic and heartbreaking. As an organisation that is committed to supporting others, we all want to help in what ever way we can. Sadly, so many people are now being forced to endure almost medieval conditions as they fight for their own survival as the world looks on!
How can we all help?
So far as a club, we have made a substantial donation to the worldwide appeal and provided funds for two Shelter Boxes which we hope will soon be on their way to provide much needed support but we want to do so much more! We will soon be outside our local supermarkets with our collection buckets, which we know you will support. We also just held a very successful Quiz Night in support of Ukraine, which added a further £605 to the monies already raised. A big thank you to all concerned.
Let us all show the people of Ukraine that we really care and that they are not alone!
