Livangeli School, Kwa Zulu Natal
2016 Update
I made my third visit to Livangeli School in January this year and was absolutely delighted to be back amongst so many friends.
I stayed with Rotarians Bev and Paul Garner and was able to spend two weeks in school, following-up the work we had set up on the original VTT project three years ago.
The school continues to make good progress and the Head teacher Bonga, who is himself a Rotarian, is determined to keep the school moving forward.
The Rotary Club of Herne Bay kindly supported my visit and I took with me enough money to purchase fifty backpacks which were presented to children at the school. They were so proud of their new bags and left school with them proudly on their backs.
Livangeli remains close to my heart and has certainly made an impact on me personally that will remain with me forever.
