CHILDREN FROM BEXHILL TAKE PART IN UK'S LARGEST DAY OUT

Children from Sidley Community Primary School enjoyed a memorable day out on the 10th June when they took part in the annual Rotary KidsOut Day, the largest day out for young people and children in the UK.

The children and their carers enjoyed a fun packed day at Knockhatch Adventure Park organised by the Rotary Club of Bexhill.

Marking the 20th anniversary of Rotary KidsOut Day, more than 20,000 children and their carers have taken trips to the seaside, zoos, safari parks, museums, theme parks, and farms across the UK, organised by members from hundreds of Rotary clubs.

As part of the national event, more than 100 venues have been visited this week with more than 1,700 volunteers, supported by local authorities, police and fire services, working to ensure the day was as safe as it was special for children and their carers.
