Charity Car Parks

Location mapOne of our important fund-raising events is the running of car parks when rugby matches and other major functions are in the city centre. We also open the weekends prior to Christmas for shoppers. Whether you are coming to the match or not, do look out for our Charity Car Parks which are only five to ten minutes walk from the Principality Stadium or the city centre and the main shopping area.

Two car parks are located on the left (east) side of North Road (A470) just before Cardiff Castle. If you are using sat nav CF10 3ER will get you close and our car parks are across the road from that location. Another is in Park Place in front of the main University Building, CF10 3AT. Not all car parks will be open for every event. You can park all day for a fixed sum in a private car park, with every penny going to our charity funds. Our prices may vary with demand but will always be comparable with the cost of parking elsewhere in central Cardiff.

Please note that you cannot legally turn right into College Road when travelling north along North Road. There is a camera at that junction so you will be penalised. Therefore you will need to proceed to the next set of traffic rights and turn right and then right again into King Edward VII Avenue and approach the car park from the other direction.

Opening times are usually from 9am on Saturdays and 10am on Sundays but we can fill quickly for big events.

Our programme and opening times are listed below. We regret that we are not able to pre-book or reserve places in our car parks and access is on a 'first come, first served' basis. Keep an eye on this page for up-to-date information. Payment will be taken by contactless cards only please. Do wear a mask.

Our car parks are back! Please respect social distancing and pay by contactless card.
