Supporting secondary and primary schools in and around Garstang

Rotary in Great Britian and Ireland organise a series of competitions for young people. Garstang and Over Wyre Rotarians are involved in these programmes. We have supported secondary school pupils in developing their cooking and catering skills as well as primary school children in encouraging their artistic talent.

The purple crocuses in full bloom in Garstang

The purple crocus is the symbol for the Rotary's campaign to eradicate polio. They also add colour to Garstang streets in early spring.

Rotarians and friends took Santa on a tour of Catterall in the run-up to Christmas so that children could see him "in person"

Supporting Rotarians, organising social events so we can have fun as well as serve our community

Rotary's own charity supporting Clubs to "Do Good in the World".

Vocation

Rotarians use their vocational skills in serving their community and through this service further enhance their skills
