Rotary Foundation
The “mission” of The Rotary Foundation is: “to enable Rotarians to advance world
understanding, goodwill and peace, through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty”. The Foundation grants available to all Rotary clubs are based on this ethos with Rotarians from Corby Phoenix always on the lookout for future projects that will cover one or more of these aims.
We try to find at least one health, education or poverty project each year, for example helping to fund a medical room in the village of Penyem in The Gambia, enabling the Corby Urgent Care Centre to purchase badly needed equipment to treat young persons and, with other partners, redecorating and refurbishing the Beds and Northants Multiple Sclerosis treatment centre.
