Visit to Nancy to meet the Rotary Club of Nancy Majorelle.

The Rotary Club of Nancy Majorelle is keen to twin with the Watford club. A group from Watford visited Nancy for a weekend to spend some time together socially and discuss possible joint projects.

The Rotarians of Nancy Majorelle gave us a great welcome and we had a fun weekend.

Nancy is an interesting town in north east France founded in the middle ages. It has great examples of 18th century architecture. It was also the home of art nouveau in France and has many wonderful buildings in the art nouveau style. The Rotary club is named after Louis Majorelle who designed and made furniture in the art nouveau style.
