Key planned activities
Continue with the excellent "Lend with Care" scheme which offers finance to help people work out of povert and offer employment to others. The loans are repaid and then reinvested in more businesses so the money rolls on and on.
The club has invested £2340 and donated £316 but with reinvestment has loaned £8584 to 194 businesses.
This has helped 954 entrepreneurs, 3542 family members and created 558 jobs maily in agriculture, retail and tailoring.
Countries we have loaned to include Ecuador, Vietnam, Cambodia, Zambia and Rwanda.
And most importantly, arranging the clubs Overseas Visit in Spring 2020. In 2019 the club visited Belfast where it met upwith memebers of the Rotary Club of Belfast. The club prides itself on arranging these annual visits where Rotarians and family and friends enjoy a few ays of fellowship overseas and at the same time visit a Rotary Club. In recent years the club has visited Montenegro, Budapest, Verona, Malta and Cyprus.
