Rotary District 1110 - Club Visioning

A club visioning session provides a vision for the future and the beginnings of a written plan that promotes consensus, consistency and continuity.  It serves as a foundation for any club that wants to grow and become more effective.

The Visioning process that you will experience is based on five key questions related to the planning process:
1. Who are you?

2. Where are you?

3. Where do you want to be?

4. How will you get there?

5. How will you know when you have arrived?

The Challenge
To gather as many ideas, dreams and opportunities for the future as possible from a large proportion of club members and condense them down to the most important goals by consensus and all to be done within a very limited time frame. This is where an outside neutral team of Rotarians acting as facilitators can make the difference.

The Outcomes
At the end of an intensive process lasting about two and half to three hours the members of the club will have a clear vision of:
• What the club stands for in the community

• The club’s target membership size in 5 years

• Identification of the club’s attributes

• Top 3 objectives for each Avenue of Service, working with The Rotary Foundation    
   and Public Image programme.
