Visit to Basingstoke by the Euskirchen Rotary Club

Fri, May 20th 2016 at 12:00 pm- Sun, May 22nd 2016 - 10:00 pm

Following a successful meetup in Berlin last time we are back on home turf. A great twinning exchange opportunity for Euskirchen Rotarians to visit and stay with Rotarian hosts, to see the town and county around us.

A previous trip to some historic buildings near Euskirchen Germany

Friday Night

- Three members will host dinner parties for German guests with some club members:


Saturday Early morning
- Drive down to the Forest and drive through the Ornamental Drives of Bolderwood and Rhinefield, aiming to arrive at Rhinefield House Hotel in time for coffee.

13:00 Saturday Lunch booked at the Beach House pub/Westover Hall, Milford for all the club members attending, the German visitors and their club hosts.

Then a Strawberry cream tea with bubbly at Ossemsley Manor [courtesy of the Mosses]

19:30 Saturday Dinner at the Fox Inn, North Waltham

Sunday
A farewell “typically English Breakfast” at Basingstoke Golf Club. (£8/person)

Get away promptly at 12 noon for 14:45 flight departure from Heathrow
