Quiz Night

This evening we  enjoyed the Quiz Night organised by our International Committee, led by chairman and Quizmaster Steve Best.   Lisvane's Memorial Hall was filled to capacity by club members and their friends and groups from the village to wrestle with the questions and table puzzles posed by our Quizmaster.  He was ably assisted by the members of his committee and four Interactors, Rhys, Gabby, Maddy and Lucy, from Whitchurch High School.  After four rounds a light supper was served at each table, before we tackled the remaining two rounds. The "Amnesiacs" came out the winning team with a score of 83%. The evening was a fund-raiser to support Rotary's own charity, The Rotary Foundation, and its work with the "End Polio Now" campaign, and other charities supported by the club. At a first count, our Charity Fund benefitted by £1330.
