Our speaker at breakfast this morning was Geraint Richards, now the
Head of Disability Player Performance for the Tennis Foundation, but at
one time coach to the Lisvane Tennis Club.. His talk ranged from the
benefits of wheelchair tennis for the "ordinary" person, such as Cameron
from Tredegar seen in the picture, to the preparations being made by
the British wheelchair tennis team for the Rio Olympics. He
particularly talked about the Sao Caetano project near Sao Paulo in
Brazil, where a venture to set up wheelchair tennis has been helped by a
previous donation from the club.
