On Thursday 25th August President Brian Johnson welcomed 36 Rotarians, and friends of Rotary to this the monthly evening meeting held at the Gilvenbank Hotel.
On reception this week was Geoff and Anne Sampson and Peter May.
The aim of the meeting was to launch a Friends of Rotary group to back up the club's work in the community, where President Brian and committee chairs outlined what was done in Rotary and where the friends of Rotary could help during the year to achieve Rotaries aims especially to support fund raising activities.
This turned out to be a fantastic night, with the buffet meal provided by the hotel an excellent change.
This coming week we revert back to our normal lunch time meeting at the Gilvenbank where our speakers will be last year’s RYLA students giving us feedback from their camp last July.

Glenrothes Rotary Club are participating in the Books Abroad Project and will be collecting books from the end of March 2021
