1150 District Conference Cardiff

Twelve members of the club attended the Conference held at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. We were invited to speak about our successful project to bring clean water to the villages of Mooni and Namagolo near Mbale in Uganda, and to mount a display in the House of Friendship.  Chris Moseley (top picture, below), our project manager, made an excellent presentation explaining the aim to bring clean water to thousands of homes in a region where cholera was endemic, the clubs and groups collaborating, how the $35,000 was raised and the challenges that had to be overcome

At the Friday night Dinner at the Jury's Inn Hotel Rotarians enthusiastically adopted the theme of "Broadway Musicals" (lower picture).
